PSL 2023: Complete squads of all six teams after players’ draft

PSL 2023 drafts

Over 500 cricketers participated in the recently-concluded players’ draft for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023. The likes of Wanindu Hasaranga, David Miller, Alex Hales and Bhanuka Rajapaksa were among several star players picked during the process.

Franchises made well use of the right-to-match cards, with Lahore Qalandars opting for Fakhar Zaman, while Quetta Gladiators used the RTM to take back Naseem Shah from Multan Sultans.

Abrar Ahmed, who bagged 11 wickets on his Test debut against England in the second Test, will ply his trade for Islamabad United. Similarly, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, David Miller, Sikandar Raza, Moeen Ali, Rovman Powell, and Imran Tahir will also be seen in the T20 league.

Babar Azam will lead Peshawar Zalmi in PSL 2023 as he has replaced Wahab Riaz, while Imad Wasim – who led Karachi Kings to victory in 2020 – will continue to captain the side after Babar moved to Zalmi.

Meanwhile, veterans like Mohammad Hafeez, Kamran Akmal and Ahmed Shehzad didn’t find a place in any of the six teams.
