WATCH: Yusuf Pathan shocks Dubai Capitals management with a prank in ILT20

The inaugural edition of International League T20 (ILT20) may be about to conclude with just a few fixtures left for the quarterfinals, but the tournament is still making headlines for so many reasons. The most recent ongoing league incident that stunned people was India’s explosive veteran all-rounder Yusuf Pathan playing a prank on Dubai Capitals team management.

In a video shared by Capitals management on Twitter, Yusuf can be seen carrying a prank on the team staff. The video starts with the 40-year-old fuming over the team members and shouting at them. The Baroda cricketer later picks up his bag to leave the dressing room.

Meanwhile, one of his fellow teammates asks Yusuf, “brother at least tell what happened? I plead please stop”. All the DC management gets tensed seeing Yusuf leaving, but soon he turns back and starts giggling, after which everyone in the room also bursts into laughter.

It seemed like Yusuf wanted to carry on the prank for some more time but couldn’t control his laughter as, in the end, he was heard blaming the co-prankster for the early chuckle.

Here’s the video:

Dubai Capitals are currently placed at the fifth spot in the league points table and have only one fixture remaining. The Rovman Powell-led side next faces MI Emirates on Sunday (February 5) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. It will be a must-win game for DC because on it depends the qualifying hopes of the team.

The last match DC played was against Desert Vipers, which they lost by 22 runs. Therefore if they need to sail to the top four, they need to win their final league stage game with a decent margin to improve their net run rate.

On the other hand, MIE would also look to seal their spot for the quarterfinals completely, as they currently they sit at the third position of the points tally.
