- Rajasthan Royals (RR)
The league’s inaugural edition champions, Rajasthan have shelled out Rs 704.8 crore.
- Sunriseres Hyderabad (SRH)
Hyderabad have spent a hefty Rs 735.4 crores in the world’s richest cricket league.
- Chennai Super Kings (CSK)
Four-time champions are on the fifth spot in terms of spending, which reads Rs 854.1 crore.
- Punjab Kings (PBKS)
Punjab might not have been able to clinch the title but expended Rs 860.9 crore till now.
- Delhi Capitals (DC)
With spending of Rs 918.7 crore, Delhi is on the fourth position.
- Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)
Kolkata also did not shy away from shelling money in the league. They spent Rs 939.6 crore.
- Mumbai Indians (MI)
Five times IPL champions, Mumbai have spent Rs 978.3 crore since the IPL’s commencement.
- Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)
One of the most star-studded teams, Bangalore have spent Rs 1003.7 crore.
