The journey towards the 13th edition of the ICC ODI World Cup commences on Sunday (June 18) as the Qualifiers kick off in Zimbabwe. These preliminary matches mark the beginning of the tournament, acting as a precursor to the main event scheduled for October and November in India.
During the Qualifiers, teams will compete to secure the remaining two spots in the World Cup, joining the eight teams that have already qualified. It’s worth noting that this may be the final opportunity for fans to witness the World Cup Qualifiers since the ODI World Cup will expand to include 14 teams starting from the 2027 edition.
