The tall left-arm pacer from Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi is a highly skilled bowler and he often produces beauties to dismiss batters, irrespective of the formats. Shaheen possesses the ability to consistently bowl accurate Yorkers, delivered at a high speed, with late movement and excellent control. He once again gave a glimpse of his unreal talent when he got rid of England superstar Jos Buttler with a stunning yorker in the ongoing T20 Blast tournament.
It all happened during the clash between Nottinghamshire and Lanacashire at Trent Bridge on Sunday when Afridi stunned Buttler with a sensational delivery. Once Lancashire chose to bat first, Buttler and Phil Salt provided a blistering start to their innings. Opening the batting, the pair amassed 33 runs in just 3.2 overs. However, it took an exceptional effort from Shaheen to break their partnership.
On the second ball of the third over Afridi delivered a deadly yorker from over the wicket, directed towards Buttler’s legs. The English batter was left completely deceived as the white leather knocked over the off stump.
