Virat Kohli is well known for his aggressive behaviour and often ends up in fights with opposition players on the field. During the IPL 2023, Kohli was in the headlines for his verbal spat with Lucknow Super Giants’ (LSG) bowler Naveen ul Haq and mentor Gautam Gambhir.
The heated exchange between Kohli and Gambhir became a major point of discussion among fans and experts alike. He was later even fined for his conduct. However, it was not the first time Kohli was involved in an on-field brawl.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar picks Virat Kohli’s alternate career
Everyone who knows the former India captain is completely aware of his temper and tries not to pick an argument with him. The same was evident during a question-answer session at CEAT Awards 2023, where Kohli’s good friend Bhuvneshwar Kumar was asked to name an alternate career for the Delhi batter, and he jokingly said that Kohli would be a WWE wrestler if not a cricketer.
“He would have been a wrestler if he was not a cricketer,” said Bhuvneshwar.
Kohli thinks he is the best bowler in the Indian team
Bhuvneshwar shares a great camaraderie with Kohli, and he further also revealed a funny insight about the latter’s bowling. He stated that Kohli believes himself to be the best bowler in the Indian team, but the players are very concerned for him due to his scary bowling action that might get him injured.
“Virat Kohli thinks he’s the best bowler in the team. We’re always scared when he bowls as he could get injured due to his bowling action,” revealed Bhuvneshwar.
Virat resonates Hulk
Apart from Bhuvneshwar, India’s young star Shubman Gill was also asked a peculiar question regarding Kohli where he was to name a superhero character that Kohli resonates. The Punjab batter named Kohli ‘Hulk energy’.
“Hulk, he’s that Hulk energy,” said Gill.
On the work front, Kohli will next be seen in action in the upcoming Aisa Cup 2023. The Indian team for the event was recently announced y the BCCI on Monday (August 21).
