As the cricketing world gears up for the much awaited ODI World Cup 2023, India star batter KL Rahul has shared a light-hearted message for his family and friends.
Rahul’s message came after his impressive performance in the first ODI against Australia at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali, where he led the Indian team to victory with an unbeaten 58 runs. India successfully chased down a target of 277, thanks in large part to Rahul and his partnership with Suryakumar Yadav, which steadied the innings after India lost four early wickets.

“Not trying to be arrogant or rude, just want to stay away from that and focus on the game”: KL Rahul
Regarding the upcoming ODI World Cup scheduled to be held in India from October 5 to November 19, Rahul has a specific request for his close ones. During an interview with the official broadcaster of the ongoing India vs Australia series, JioCinema, Rahul humorously stated, “If anyone messages me for match tickets, I am not going to respond. Not trying to be arrogant or rude, just want to stay away from that and focus on the game. This is a message to all my family members and friends, if you’re thinking about messaging me for tickets, please don’t.”
With Rahul’s formidable form and his determination to maintain his focus on the game, cricket enthusiasts worldwide eagerly await his performance in the forthcoming ODI World Cup, where India will be vying for glory on their home turf.
