St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots’ strong start falters
After being asked to bat first, the Patriots faced early pressure with the dismissal of Evin Lewis in the first over. Kyle Mayers countered with an aggressive 60 off 30 balls, providing the team with some much-needed stability. Captain Andre Fletcher later anchored the innings with a commanding 93 off 61 deliveries, narrowly missing out on a century. Despite setting a competitive total of 193/4, the Patriots’ bowling unit struggled to contain TKR’s powerful batting lineup.

Nicholas Pooran was the key architect of TKR’s successful chase. After Jason Roy laid the foundation with a blistering 64 off 34 balls, Pooran took charge and dismantled the Patriots’ bowling attack. His unbeaten 93* was an exhibition of clean and brutal hitting, featuring seven sixes and 13 boundaries. Pooran paced his innings with remarkable control, turning the match in TKR’s favor even after the dismissal of David.
